Cindy Chupack is best known as an Emmy-winning TV writer/producer whose credits include Modern Family, Sex and the City, and Everybody Loves Raymond. Author of New York Times bestseller “The Between Boyfriends Book,” her new comic memoir about marriage “The Longest Date: Life as a Wife” (released by Viking in January 2014) includes an honest, sometimes heartbreaking, ultimately hopeful story of what she and her husband, Ian Wallach, experienced during their baby quest. Cindy is currently writing a TV pilot based on “The Longest Date” for FOX, and preparing to direct her first feature in New York (so she may be joining the seminar by Skype). She has also written about dating and relationships for many magazines including Glamour and O, The Oprah Magazine (where she had her own columns), and she has been published twice in the New York Times’ Modern Love column. Cindy is from Tulsa, Oklahoma. She received a journalism degree from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, and now lives with her husband, daughter and St. Bernard (his idea) in Marina del Rey, CA.
